after some experimenting(turns out I didn't have the Skulltag data PK3 file) managed to get it to launch, but ran into a new problem, I try to start a new game and it says the first map isn't present at all, tried removing the 12 in 1 PK3 files thinking that might be the problem, but then it crashes saying that there's too many CVARs running, and I tried loading it with a different map pack, but that didn't work either

Well we don't really know much about the singleplayer, but the multiplayer just isn't doom. IMO it's acceptable multiplayer if it didn't carry the doom name. However, because it claims to be doom, no, it's shit.

The MP really needs work IMO, but just in terms of player speed, which should be the easiest thing to change relative to anything else in the game.

That being said, we don't know anything about the SP or Snapmap so it's hard to say what D(11*4)M will be like overall. I have cautiously high hopes for it tho.

Only one of those doors actually is a door. You hit a switch in that room, that opens a random other room. Repeat. Repeat. Every room has the red key, except when you try to touch it it TPs out, unless you're in the 4th room.
