Retron 5 meme started as perceived shilling of the device by way of posts referring to a wife (my wife and I) and saving oh-so-precious space by reducing the number of consoles hooked up to just 1 (the Retron). Over time the cuck meme started to bleed over into this meme, bringing other jokey things like Big Black (a bull) and references to getting a Retron 5 for the wife's bull. From what you say I guess it has morphed yet again into referencing the "my wife's son" variant of the cuckold meme.
