Why all the sudden SNES vs Genesis shitposting?

Both consoles are great and the 4th gen is a lot more bigger than just nintendo and sega consoles, and honestly, dissing the sound of a console from that era is pretty stupid, considering every console released by nintendo and sega after those 2 sounds much better.

Because those "comparisons" are all about some guy saying how terrible is a console that is 20+ years old.

Is quite funny that these people don't even seem to remember that the Genesis had CD audio and the 32X to make up for the lack of graphics and sound fidelity or that some SNES games used special chips.

Both comapanies knew their consoles weren't perfect, which is also why nintendo at some point wanted CD games.

The NES even had a chip that made the sound better, Nintendo could have improved the sound of their system if they wanted and SEGA gave developers the choice to use CD or use the 32X.
