My friends, some questions about a PAL modded SNES (50/60Hz switch, region mod, flap mod):
1. Will this play ALL games, and in correct speed as well? Terranigma in English 60Hz for example.
2. Any drawback to above unit?
3. Am I better off with seperate EU SNES and US SNES units?

You should be fine but in general stick to US/Jap versions for 60Hz and avoid running PAL at 60. If you play a US/Jap cart with the switch at 60, then everything's just the same as a US/Jap console. If you take a known slow game like F-Zero PAL and run it at 60, you'll get 60fps, but the game timing will be wrong as some of it was adjusted for PAL. The ready, go is off by a second for instance. SF2 the intro disappears too fast... small things but they make you wonder what game breaking stuff you'll run into down the line. For games like Terranigma the benefit of playing english at 60 far outweigh the small downsides.

Buying a US/Jap console won't change anything important.

One thing to keep in mind is that properly coded PAL releases will produce sfx & bgm faster that intended, when run at 60Hz.

Then again, buying an Action Replay will make your US SNES play PAL games with less cost.
