Hey /vr/ I'm going on a business trip and will have a lot of downtime, I have PSP with a SNES emulator. What are the best SNES games to play that will emulate well on PSP? For the life of me I can't get Super ghouls and ghosts to play at an acceptable speed.

I am also looking for something a little obscure, not the obvious Super Metroid and So on

SNES emulation on PSP is notoriously bad, save for a bunch of people who say it's perfect for them and never offer any proof. Those claims alone led me to believe it would be better than it is, but it's not.

So yeah, you might want to look at another console to emulate.

Picodrive is a near perfect emulator, and plays Mega CD games very well. Try out Snatcher. SNES emulation is crap on the PSP

Why not PS1 games? You should have considerably better luck with those.

What this anon said. See if there's any SNES games you like that got GBA ports, since the PSP can play them flawlessly.

That really bums me out, the way people tout the psp as the best handheld emulation system really had me on the hook
