You know there's a Japanese exclusive Tobal 2 and you can capture the monsters in the dungeons to use in vs mode? Also check out Ehrgeiz

Played both, but thanks. Keep bumping the thread with more hidden gems.

Here's another little gem for the PSX.

>> No.3086043

Ok...
Carnage Heart (PSX) - game where you build robots by giving them instructions. It's kinda technical (you don't control the robots, you have to build their AI by using programming).

Oh No! (PSX) - a nice rhythm game before those were a fever. It's in japanese only, but the gameplay is self-explanatory. Every stage has two sections: runner (a la Pepsiman) and some sort of DDR clone. Very crazy.

Panzer Bandit (PSX) - a very nicely-done beat'em up where a kid punches robots in the face. Japanese-only, but just story stuff.

Do we have an infographic of hidden gems by platform?

I found this in my /vr/ folder, but it's just for imports.

Last Legion UX for the Nintendo 64.

The N64's take on mech combat didn't get as popular as the PSX's Armored Core and the Sega Saturn's Virtual On series and has fallen into complete obscurity.

I report posters who post low quality posts. Also this thread belongs in /wsr/ so it's breaking global rule 16.

Sage and report.

>implying Tobal wasn't a gem because a lot of people owned it
Tobal is like ZoE1, it sold under expectations and the people who owned it almost exclusively had It for the demo of a blockbuster title

5/10 bait, not next level, but it makes you think.

It's okay. -IGN
