I had a PC when I was a kid. I played games like Wolfenstein 3D (shareware version), Megarace, Heretic (shareware version), Doom, Starcraft, and a shit load of games off of PC demo disks. When I finished middle school my dad bought me a PS3 and my first game Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. (Which I still own to this day) My older brother got a PS2 a few years back to mainly use as a DVD player as well to play a few games (Like X Files: Resist Or Serve. Cause he was a huge X-Files nerd back then. He also got Max Payne) After a while he didn't want it anymore so he gave it and all of the games to me. Today I play PS3, PS2, and PS1 games. I plan on getting more PS1 games since I only have 4 at the moment. (Star Trek: Invasion, X-Files, Quake 2, and Rayman) I plan on getting the Arcade Classics: Williams Collection as well as the Arcade Classics: Atari Collection Volumes 1 & 2.

This is some good taste right here, also I know the feel of leaving games out. I trimmed mine down to be as little as possible but you have a good list of games.

Yeah I felt like I'd be here all night if I put together my true 'essential' or 'definitive' collection, so here is my 'representative' collection. These are all games that had some profound effect or another, and I know I'm leaving out plenty that affected me just as much.

>you come in and screech NOT RETRO!
>everyone rolls their eyes and goes back to discussing the game

>someone tells you that those threads are fine
