AoE starts in the paleolithic and ends with Cesar.

Amiga game. I played the first couple levels of this, it's kinda hard. Allegedly the game also gets impossible in later stages.
I like the general vibe and graphics, although the physics could have been better (you can "bumb" your head on the sky-ceiling, which affects your jumps from those vines, for example). A little bit more effort would have made this a great game.

This. Probably my favorite DOS platformer of all time. The graphics, the humor, the exploration, the challenge, what a classic.

The game was ported to the SNES too. Well not much of a port actually. Also, the graphics improved quite a lot, but I think the controls are quite 'funny' sometimes, you know. Nothing that compromises the gameplay though.

The first one you throw things and the second one you have to go up to your enemies and club them.
