Are these things worth the money they go for on eBay?

I kinda want to collect them, but they go for more than most NES games.

They're simple game you can get in collections, unless you're a nostalgiafag collecting these is pointless.

ARE THEY WORTH THE MONEY THEY GO FOR?

I DUNNO, ARE THEY WORTH IT FOR YOU?

Oh, that's all? I thought they would be going for thousands, given the state of this topsy turvy market.

If you want to buy a Game and Watch for $30, then sure, buy a Game and Watch for $30.

If you want to collect them, sure.
If you're in it to play them, might I recommend the Game and Watch Gallery series?

I bought one for $55 at a local game store. Thought it was cool for about a week, then it say in my closet untouched for over a year. Ended up selling it on Craigslist for $50.

They're cool, but I can't really justify collecting them unless you have nostalgia or a SERIOUS interest in them.

Perhaps just having one to have one, and that's it. Mine was the widescreen Mickey Mouse. If I had like DK, DK 2, DK Jr, SMB, etc., I would probably have kept it. One of the big names. That's probably what you should go for if you just want one.
