I just dick around on Hoyle's casino. It has a good selection of games in one place.

The original Hoyle Casino was a lot of fun. Not sure how good the newest version is.

Vegas Stakes is about the only casino game I go back and play anymore. My neighbor's dad had it, borrowed it for a while back in the day and routinely lost all my money on the slots.

Wish it had a Texas hold'em style poker game though.

Yeah hon, if you want to live in Florida (read: the rich areas infested with old Jew money) you're gonna have to win a lot more.

Are these the Sierra AGI / SCI card games?

Honestly the Telltale poker games aren't all that bad for a few hours, and they're usually dirt-cheap. It's like simulating playing poker with friends for people who don't have any friends.

More specifically...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoyle_Casino

It was originally published by Sierra Entertainment and then later Encore, Inc. There's basically yearly versions of each game and some are shit in terms of bugs. You'll have to do your research. Obviously leads into not retro.

But they're fun. There's some banter and atmosphere. But try to watch a gameplay video or two and read reviews if you plan on purchasing anything.

I just ripped the install files from a disc a got at the library long ago, but I can't remember the version. I'll come back with that info once I get a chance to look it up.

I played one of the early 2000s release of this series. Good stuff. Even had horse racing.

I looked it up. It's Hoyle Casino 2003. It has a pretty great spread of games, including a stuff like horse racing and baccarat on top of the classic casino staples.

Vegas Dream on NES is one of those "I'm having fun and I don't know why" kind of games.

Probably the best casino game I've played.
