PS1 has a lot of hipster games, but Jumping Flahs aren't them. Try LSD, Moon RPG, all the artdink games, etc. Basically any game mentioned on "obscure PS1 games" threads. I remember you from another thread, we've discussed this before, seems like you have some kind of personal problem with people liking this game. I already told you that the lenght is fine, it's a shooting arcade-style game. Panzer Dragoon, Einhander, and many other shooting games are also short. I think having 11 or 12 missions is fairly long for a game like this.

You can play for score if you absolutely need to have some kind of meaning to enjoy a video game.

And besides the main game there's the trial mode which is like an extra level with various challenges. Hard enough to get an S-rank.

Anyway, whatever problem or trauma you might have with GITS, we don't care, stop shitposting.

you really should play it. its colorful, the levels are clever little minatures, the weapons are pretty nice... its very well made. This is also what comes to mind when people talk about games that don't age well.

Jumping Flash has tank controls, on what is essentially an FPS. There is also no strafing, and you can't even look up or down. It is pretty frustrating, if you are used to modern games. luckily, the game is designed with these limitations in mind, so it's not like the lack of strafing will kill you. I think these reasons make the game hard to like, but you would be made to call it a bad game. and if you judge it as a PSX launch title, it's actually pretty damn good

Resident Evil had bullshit jump scares. Silent Hill was genuinely terrifying. the game had tough controls, not because Konami couldn't program for shit, but because the MC was a writer who had never fired a gun a day in his life. the atmosphere was perfect, the sound design was great... play it in the dark, with headphones on. it is a lot more impressive.

Only play the Original version of this, and not the Arrange version. The arrange has some stuff that's messed up in it, a big thing being edge detection on platforms and certain hazard objects not appearing correctly in the game, both of which contribute to make certain parts of the game into some stupid bullshit.

Not to mention you can use codes to unlock the SC-55 soundtrack for Original, and it's by far the best version.

I got project 8 and its not even tony hawks anymoree,
being a fan you still go back to see, to hope, that its gotten better but it never did.
