How hard is this game?
I remember trying to play it a few years ago and it literally blew me the fuck out.
Do I just suck or what?

In terms of where to go? You just have to pay attention to what people say mostly.

Easy like every Zelda after II.
Maybe you were just having an off day when you tried before

Read what people say, Baby

Piss easy. Still interesting, but there is close to no difficulty whatsoever.

One of my friends couldn't figure out the time system either. He wasn't that bright.

Play the Song of Time backwards. It slows down time.

There were a couple non-intuitive leaps of logic required, I found the intro sequence a bit difficult in the year 2000. After failing to get past the intro three times I had to fire up the old 56k and look up a walkthrough.

I'd imagine it should be much easier as an adult. Nearly everything people say has a reason behind it. Give it at least three full sequences through it and then look up a walkthrough. The game gets markedly easier and much more fun after that, especially if you pay close attention and learn all three songs of time.

Gameplay wise it's definitely the hardest 3D Zelda game. Each temple has two mini-bosses and each boss takes a lot of hits. I'm not finished with my second playthrough yet, but last time Majora kicked my ass a couple times before I beat it. The three day system can be a bit challenging, but to an experienced Zelda player it's more than enough time.

As for the puzzles, the main quest is pretty easy if you're familiar with Zelda. The side quests are a bit more challenging, but nowhere near as cryptic as some NES Zelda stuff.

[bait] You should definitely try it again. It's better than Ocarina of Time. [/bait]
