Except people talk about full remakes frequently around here. Every time M2 releases another 3D genesis port it gets a huge thread, and these very ports of DQ IV, V and VI have been discussed here many times. Threads about remakes are perfectly acceptable. It's been this way since /vr/ was created.

There's a small group of people who hate them though and will do as has been done in this thread, just shitpost constantly until the thread gets derailed in the hopes of having it get deleted for that reason. They know the mods are actually fine with threads like this so it's their only course of action.

This is 4chan though. Dealing with trolls is just things as usual. I think it's funny that he still comes here despite half of what gets posted triggering him into spasms of rage.
