Umihara thread?

So I got around to reading the Umihara manga and it's almost completely unrelated to the game, except for the looks of the main character and her being able to use a lure that stuns.

Her name also seems to be written 海原 instead of the usual 海腹 (both read the same way, though). First name is unchanged.

In the manga Umihara seems to possess some power to breath underwater, and this is why she is targeted by some evil organization that also has captured her grandfather IIRC.

Problem is, the magazine it was serialized in got canceled altogether just after the Umihara manga had got 8 chapters. Only 6 of these are in the Tankoubon which I have.

I'd like to read the remaining 2 chapters, but I have no clue as how to get them.

TV series from the 90's are cool and all, but pretty much everyone has already seen Sakura, Slayers, Rayearth, etc. so not much point in streaming those.

I've only completed the SFC one, but the other two have a real different feel to me and seem really good so far. They seem to emphasize the platforming part a lot more, whereas the first game prefers to shit out random spawns nonstop. I'd definitely try Shun once you're ready, but Sayonara feels surprisingly great to me too.

Bionic Commando is incredibly simplistic in comparison. You swing the exact same way every time, the only thing that matters is where you attached the hook. I personally see Sayonara as the weakest because the physics feel too easy in some areas(wall climbing, general slinging) and some techniques are almost gone(rocket jumps).

Granted the game is built around these changes it just feels overall easier and more loose; losing that original "git gud" feeling the other two give. Especially with the new field select instead of the traditional survivor mode being default.

Although causally I'd say it's the best because of all those changes plus the characters, costumes, and all the extras it gives you.

It has become clear that Agatsuma Entertainment known for the games based on "Soreike! Anpanman!" and "Umihara Kawase" are to disband at 2015-12-11 {YYYY-MM-DD format}.

At the board of directors meeting of the parent company in 2015-11-30, Agatsuma, the dissolution and liquidation of Agatsuma Entertainment has been decided. The reason for the dissolution of the company is stated as "The difficulty to procure proceeds due to the worsening of the state of management" (from the Press Release).

Furthermore they say that enquires regarding the software Agatsuma Entertainment was selling are now to be handled by the parent company Agatsuma.

Phew... that was hard. Hopefully it's at least 10% better than the nonsense Google Translate would've spewed out, but I feel this was slightly above my level as a translator and my level of understanding in parts. In particular the press release was difficult. If some uber-1337 level translator wants to correct me please do.

Why is the SNES game so ridiculously difficult

Why the Famicom game in particular? That's probably the easiest one of the bunch. It's not that difficult anyway, just has a very brutal initial learning curve. Get through that and it'll be smooth sailing.

the SFC game art doesn't even have that large tits (or at least they're hidden). her bustiness only really became apparent with the PSX game.
