It's a rather wacky arcade, it was an actual arcade game, racer. You deliver pizza with a moped of your choice. You will drive through fountains, jump very high and you will pick up power ups that allow you to blow up cars with a kick.
The soundtrack is pretty much perfect.

FFVII is overrated no matter how you look at it. For one it has a fanbase that never shuts up about it being "the greatest game ever made" and this shit has been going on almost 20 fucking years now. This alone makes FFVII one of the most overrated games in existence.

To add to this many of these people found the FF series and often RPGs as a genre with FFVII and have "firsties syndrome" decribed here...

Also how come FFVII got all those sequels, prequels, spin-offs and that bullshit compilation if it is so underrated? If FFVII truly was underrated it woudn't have gotten any of these and no one but a handful of people would have given a slightest fuck about it's remake being announced.

Finally there are games like Ehrgeiz out there that are advertised only for having FFVII characters in it. Shit like this ONLY works with a retardedly popular and overrated game.

Then again you fags probably believe underrated means game you consider "objectively good" and not that has gotten way more praise than it actually deserved.

This was so stupid, I had to read it over a couple of times. How much praise did FF7 actually deserve? The way you phrase it like this makes it seem like you think this deserved praise is an objective quality too. There are always less subjective factors though, idiot. FFVII was reviewed critically at the time and widely praised. There comes a point where you have to look back and accept when a game objectively does something that sets new standards or influences its industry.

Of course this game was commercially successful as well as being a critical success, which makes the fedora tippers feel very flustered. If FFVII received the exact same reviews but didn't sell no one would have ever called the game overrated, which makes those kinds of comments worthless and easily dismissed.

Say you don't like it, fine, that is an opinion. Calling it "overrated" is not, it's an attempt at an objective statement that has no credibility.
