In Castlevania 64 if you're playing on the easiest difficulty the game ends prematurely after the castle interior level. Are there any other games that punish you for playing on easy?

Twisted Metal 2 wouldn't let you proceed more than halfway on "Easy." Can't remember if the other games in the series did this.

Fuck, I remember that. Finally being able to beat the castle entrance level, and the game ended because I was playing on Easy.

I deserved it for being a casual I guess.
I eventually got to finish the game on normal. But I got the bad ending.

Ikaruga let's you play infinite continues on the first two levels in "Trial Mode", which is kinda interesting.

Sort of a punishment, Bushido Blade 1. Whenever the fight starts, fighters make an intro or some shit where you can go and end the battle before their weapon is even drawn. I thought that was hilarious when I first played it, until I got to the end and found out I did not follow the path of Bushido for butchering people before a fight even started. You know, I see a lot of WD apologists that say "Well at least they brought over games they never would have otherwise." That's fucking bullshit because if they didn't, you can't know if some other company wouldn't have done it.
