I got 10 PS1 games and a PS2 with controllers and cables from some Mexican dude for $30. He wanted $45, but I talked him down. It's all dirty as fuck, but it should be too hard to clean up. Too bad most of the games are crap. SotN makes up for it, though. Not retro, but I also got Pikmin 2 for $7 and there was even an Action Replay disc in the case too. Not too shabby.

Most of my pickups were PSP and GBA. PSP is actually insanely cheap atm, and if you get the right setup you can play it on your HDTV and it looks pretty good.

Had the chance to get 2 GBCs and all pre-GBA Pokemon games plus multiple other games for $20 total but I wanted to make sure the original owner was sure he wanted to keep them so I gave him a day to reconsider. Forget about the monetary value since I wasn't going to sell them, these were his childhood possessions.

He did reconsider, and I'm glad he kept them since he would have felt like complete shit later on. I hate being on either side of "heartbreak" deals.

The problem was that the box the GBP came in was huge and most people wouldn't have wanted to shelf it, but the disc just came in a sleeve. People just suck it with all their other sleeved utility discs, which as we all know are 95% worthless. Then they lost the whole bundle. Blame Nintendo for not putting it in a Gamecube game case - although be sure to look through bundles and binders of cheap ass "loose games" that's how I found mine.

Lunar 2 is the shit. Bought that online 6 years ago, light packaging damage and missing the demo disc and (as most copies) the necklace. Already had the demo disc from my copy of Vanguard Bandits (also super legit), and was mostly interested in the game play more than it's collectible value. Which leads me to believe he cut another hole for discs.

That being said he probably didn't, and just uses it as an emulator.
