I played super metroid like 5 times, but never touched SotN, how different are they? What am I in for? How does the exploration/adventure compare to that of Super Metroid? What makes it stand out- similarities and differences? Thanks, gonna start it soon after I beat Castlevania 4 (my first playing a castlevania game)

Actually never liked Super Metroid. The environments basically all look completely identical except for colors, which makes navigation more of a chore than fun exploration. The enemy variety is really bland other than bosses, and bosses aren't frequent enough. It's definitely a good game, but I find it extremely overrated.

The only thing Symphony ever did wrong was be too easy, and you can at least make it harder with inferior equipment.
