ITT best underrated games.

>> No.2713404

Super Gn'G is far better, I'm not even pretending.

>> No.2713409

also how the fuck is this game in the dirt my nigga? it's close to Earthbound prices now where ever you look.

>> No.2713429

>>2713404
They are close in my opinion, but to each their own.

>>2713409
I never lost my original copy, and I was speaking in the figurative term. It was a great game among many shit ones.

>hidden gems don't exist anymore since the advent of the internet
>it's starting to become unpopular to even use the term
>I know! Let's call them gems in the dirt instead!
>it's original because I just reworded the definition!
>lets start with a game that's famous for being expensive

>> No.2713540

I think OP is stuck in 1994.

>> No.2713552

>>2713532

Probably a top 20 GB game, yet you can still easily find it for 3 bucks.

Wait! I have an even more radical new term than gems in the dirt! How about... diamonds in the rough? SO ORIGINAL!

>> No.2713624

>>2713404

that game has way too much slowdown to be enjoyable

>> No.2713634

>>2713624

If you stop jumping like a spaz at every opportunity then there's less slowdown and it's easier to kill things. it's still bad though in some boss fights, but idgaf... my only real complaint is that I wish they kept shooting up or down in the game.

I think that term would apply to something else, like games that start of sucky but get amazing if you stick with them. Kinda ties into "diamond in the rough" referring to unseen potential.

How is Demon's Crest underrated?

There is a difference between a game being Underrated or a hidden gem, OP. My choice for the best,Underrated game is Deadly Premonition.

>> No.2713854

>>2713816
OP probably meant "under-appreciated" or "relatively unknown"

>> No.2713869

>>2713850
You're not on /v/, fuck off

>> No.2713873

>>2713850

Nope, I played it recently and the frame-rate,audio issues and shitty controls makes it unplayable trash.

Shit, my bad, I actually thought this was a thread on /v/, well for retro, my pick would be Beetle adventure racing on N64.
