Is this the way developers intended to play snes games? Was my childhood a delusion and this was there the whole time?

I don't even know what data the snes can't pull to even get this, a shame getting it fixed costs more than the snes is worth

Consoles and cartridges wear over time. You should emulate to preserve the game. When some of my cartridges started deleting my saves, I decided to move to emulation. Yeah, I have to use a PS3 controller. I can still play on a big screen TV and not have to worry about the game's age.
TL;DR quit being a faggot nobody cares about your physical video game collection

I'm still on the fence about buying an Everdrive MD clone because the prices on original copies of Genesis games have gone up so fucking much in the past 5 years it's ridiculous. I don't even want to collect, I just wanna play all the old games I used to rent the fuck out of when I was a kid. I hate all the neckbeards who buy up all these games to have them sit on their shelves collecting dust... I swear they're just as bad as the re-sellers.

Sometimes games delete saves for no good reason. Maybe it has to do with sudden shocks or because the cartridge was inserted in a way that made the game check for saves but the contact died shortly after (some old carts need to be placed correctly) so they became corrupted and they are reset with FF/00s after the next boot.

For me, it was an easy choice. A copy of just Thunder Force IV is the same price as the flashcart here.

Even if I ignored the dozens of other top quality games available, and the hundreds of other titles worth playing, it was worth picking up.
