What's your favorite sports game /vr/?

Am I the only one who thought the Genesis had better sports games than the SNES?

>> No.2664981

Nhl 94 was pretty fun. I only played it on an emulator so the keyboard controls felt weird. As far as your post goes, I'm a huge basketball fan but have yet to play nba jam.

for Americans for sure.
But the SNES had better Football/Soccer and tennis games.

Soccer by Capcom. Very dynamic and funny

Genesis had a much better/faster CPU, and was thus better equipped to handle the faster pace of sports games compared to the SNES.

Most sports games were multiplat.

This one (which was a lot better than FIFA) was better on SNES though.

There is no need to be so assblasted. This is a good discussion. And Genesis did indeed shit on SNES for sports games.Fot the SNES Super Batter Up shits on Griffey with his shit fake name players. Awesome games:
NHL 94 (Genesis) obligatory
Tecmo Super Bowl(nes) obligatory
World Series 95(genesis)
Super Batter Up(Snes)
Base Wars
Madden 93 and 97 (Genesis)
NBA Live 95(genesis)
NFL Blitz (PS1)
Wrestlemania 2000? Fighting?Sports?
So many games. I could go on forever. Having friends was fun.

International Super Star Soccer on SNES and Final Match Tennis o PC Engine were probably the best soccer/football and tennis retro games.

Final Match Tennis is almost like a simulator, one of those games that are liked more by tennis fans than by video game fans.

Numan Athletics.

I've been playing this with my cousin every time we get drunk. It's all fun and games the first 3 or 4 events until you have to jump across Niagara fucking Falls. That one usually takes a couple of tries. The event in Paris is awesome though, jumping between two skyskrapers to get to the top.
