Retro zombie games are few and far between, but these days zombie relates games are a dime a dozen.
Some people are "fans" of it, and I guess it's because it seems to be a thing, a fad.
Not saying I am the only real, hardcore fan, because I'm not, but yeah, I totally get what you mean.

I'm not special, I know know the zombie genre had been popular for a while, but now it seems like people have just woken up to it and it was there the whole time, so I am just confused as to why now it is more popular than ever.
It's just that I remember when it seemed like a niche thing, almost, but now it's full blown all over the place.
I don't pretend to own the fan club, or to be an exclusive member, I just wonder what took people so long to acknowledge the genre,
Though, there is so much out there now, it is sort of watering down what made it so effective in the first place.

I like zombies, but modern games often fail to make them fun or interesting. Not always, but frequently.

Honestly, the one thing that actually really bothers me with the heightened zombie trend in the past years is zombie guns.
Jesus fuck they are so ugly and dumb.

It's all so fucking ugly with the paint and tacked on parts of questionable practicality.
The only good thing to come from the Zombie Gun thing is Z-Max ammo.
