Getting into non VR, story of seasons is the best we've had in YEARs, and I love it to death, bit Rune Factory 4 is kind of a better game.

I've always found Secret of Mana very comfy. The magic system is tedious so I mainly just melee attack. The game is easy enough that it's sufficient, and playing that way is super comfy. I love the colour palettes in this game.

I've also always found Sim City 2000 to be very comfy. Love the sprites and music, plus who doesn't enjoy building their own little city?

While not VR the game Fantasy Life for the 3DS allows you to choose from different trades and max them out. The story is pretty cute but nothing to write home about, and you're not stuck with one job after you've chosen. You can change whenever you want to.
It can be pretty relaxing to just grind your crafting skills as well.

I play the first levels over and over again. The fact that the other team doesn't come and invade my town is great, because I can invest all my time into expanding my territory and population, and creating houses everywhere.

Oh man, that game was maximum comfy.

The spells were quite spectacular too. I remember I used some cheat code for infinite mana, and kept casting the deathangel 20-30 times in a row. There were dozens of huge winged demons eating all enemy tribes around the map.

The Armageddon spell is also great if you specifically build your troops according to it. If you train everyone to be fire troopers, you'll be knocking people out of the arena as soon as the fight starts.
