Getting a 2 slot Neo Geo MVS from a friend with Metal Slug in the next couple of weeks, I'm already planning on getting the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters games, but are there any gems I should be on the lookout for?

Is the system flashed with Razoola's Universe Bios?
If not, you should look into it. You can run MVS games in AES mode and vice-versa regardless of which one you have, built in trainer/hack menu, jukebox mode to rip music, and region-unlocking.

Although carts like that for the Famicom suck, Neo-Geo multicarts will actually save you a lot of money, and do have the full games intact.

unibios is an actual chip you replace not all mvs models are socketed though. the 161 in 1 cart is worth it. only has a couple of buggy original games. dont pay more than 70 bucks for it hough
