Just get the fullset from a torrent. Easier, faster, saves you a ton of time you'd waste on looking up individual sets and their bios files or parent/clone romsets.

Last time I did it it was something like 18gb, the important shit was there I think and I could get games I'd never try otherwise like Monster Maulers, Tecmo Knight and Fallen Angels.

best thing to do is go to archive.org and grab all MAME 0.149 torrents. Ignore MESS unless you want consoles too.

I wonder when the newest romset version is going to be ready like this. Also, don't rely on MAME for 3D polygon games. Seek out specific emulators like ZiNC or DEMUL and head to http://www.gametronik.com instead because their roms have all necessary files per rom as well as perfectly working BIOS.

pic is what I use for MAME since I don't have to configure games individually with it because MAME has a profile just for X-Arcade.
