The puke green they used for PS1's greatest hits reissues was aesthetically disgusting, but NTSC-U/C cases for PS1 are ugly either way. I'm okay with the red they used for PS2 and PS3 cases, but the lack of consistency in PS3 cases was more annoying

My problem with the PS3 Greatest Hits cases are more with making the box itself red, it sticks out like a sore thumb on a shelf. They actually look pretty nice with the regular see-through case.

The only red case PS3 games I owned are Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition and the Uncharted Dual Pack. I think the red case fits RDR quite well. The Batman Arkham Dual Pack was also GH, but for some reason it came out in a clear case.

I have no issue with the PS1 longboxes from an aesthetic design (the ridged boxes were the best), but they had a tendency of not keeping the disc in place during shipping. My copy of the original Resident Evil had a bad scratch because of this.

The jewel cases were much better for keeping the discs in place, but it makes the big PlayStation logo on the left side too intrusive and redundant.

Green/Red labels make me fucking mad when it comes to collecting. But how do you feel about green/red label exclusive expansions? Like Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix (not retro) and Jet Moto 2 Championship Edition? Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is a grey area, because there's a rare SKU that has it in black label.
