can we talk about how Abuse was well...IS an absolute masterpiece?

>> No.2529686

God fucking yes.

I don't really obsess over the game the way I do over some others, but if I had to make a list of near-perfect games Abuse would be close to the top of it.

when will you eurofags let go of nostalgia and just finally realize that your platformers were trash?

>i never played the game

It became sensibly better when I move to an optical mouse instead of the classic one with the ball.

I like how you have nothing other than generic insults to defend yourself rather than actually site why you think it's such a great game.
and yes I have.

You realize you are calling someone out for not using an argument when your only argument to begin with was "its trash" right?

where exactly did i insult you you yoyo?

it has very intense and long segments of action
the combination of mouse/keyboard is actually amazing and feels very natural while easy to master
movement is great with powerup like superspeed or flying
original and fun to use weapons
fantastic sound effects and music

meanwhile
what have you argumented you autistic faggot?

Holy fuck I remember playing a demo i think as a kid. Never even thought about the game until just now.

Thank you OP, really need to play this again.

And I like how you have no other argument against the game except to say that I'm from Europe for some reason, which I am not.

been forever since I've played this game
I should probably give it a shot again. I remember it being pretty cool.

>> No.2530427

I remember the year this came out, my dad lost his job right before Christmas. This somehow managed to find its way under the tree. I retired to the computer room and slept there for the next few days.

>> No.2530451

Man, that game freaked me out as a kid. The sounds the mutants made, the lighting and anticipation.

>> No.2530550

I remember playing this in school instead of doing actual work.

Guess my teacher didn't care what the fuck we were doing.

Good game though.

Abuse on Steam when? I know it's free but no Steam no play is my rule. I can live without achievements though that would suck, but cards are a must.

I think this person is mistaking the ripped off iPhone version called "Alien Abuse" that some dishonest french scum Stephane Portha ripped off in 2009 until the original maker of Abuse got it pulled. Abuse is 100% American made "Dave Taylor, Bobby Prince, Crack.com" and is Murrican as apple pie! The original Abuse was made for DOS and Mac around 1996ish.

My comment was deleted, but I don't even remember deleting it. Anyway, I said I wanted Abuse on Steam. Abuse on Steam when?
