What is the most disturbing retro game you have ever played?

I don't think any game in history has gotten under my skin quite like Harvester has. Even thinking about it makes me feel gross and dirty like I need a shower.

What's more, the guy who played the main character was arrested for CP.

He's even wearing the same shirt in his mugshot.

I thought it was really funny and memorable, sorry but it's too over the top and ridiculous for me to find disturbing.

That one's fuckin hard.

I finished the Gorrister campaign with a tiny bit of help from a walkthrough How am I supposed to know that the white milky shit is important? Or that a shovel will be in the trash? Or that the one pixel whiskey bottle will be important

I enjoy it so far, but I can't help but feel a little dumb to not be able to figure it all out alone.

harvester comes off as more comedic than actually disturbing

Harvester was incredibly tongue-in-cheek making it impossible for me to find it disturbing. This however >>2528301 did the job really well.

Ripper.

Not so much for the gore, but some of the plot twists take this really off-kilter vibe that only a particular combination of bad writing and bad acting can take a story. Seriously, Walken doesn't just chew scenery, he swallows it whole.

I see what you mean, but I guess it's just something for me personally that makes Harvester such a disturbing experience. Something about the very off-kilter and over-the-top vibe pushes all of my buttons. It's just an utterly disgusting experience for me and makes my skin crawl to even think about.

That's probably just me though.

Some parts of it are pretty disgusting, like the kids eating that woman and the demonic baby. But for every scene like that you've got one like the fire fighters.
