> How many games did you have?
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt and Castlevania, so two.

I didn't play video games very much when I was young.

I just noticed Mario's sprite on the cover is doctored to have more colors and detail. That's some false advertising right there.

Ninja Gaiden I
Tecmo Bowl

SMB2 USA
Mr Dream's Punch Out

Probably just finished the marios on my own.

The following is a list of games from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NES_games that I am 100% unmistakeably certain to have owned physical cartridge copies of when I sold my NES off in 91 or 92. I owned at least double this number, though, but I don't remember all of them just by name alone.

720°
Adventure Island
Adventure Island II
Adventure Island 3
Arch Rivals
Arkanoid
Astyanax
Baseball
Bases Loaded
Batman
Battle Chess
The Battle of Olympus
Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure
Bionic Commando
Blades of Steel
City Connection
Conquest of the Crystal Palace
Double Dribble
DuckTales
Ghosts'n Goblins
Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode
The Guardian Legend
Ice Hockey
Karate Champ
Kid Icarus
Kid Niki: Radical Ninja
The Legend of Kage
The Legend of Zelda
Low G Man: The Low Gravity Man
Lunar Pool
The Mafat Conspiracy
Mickey Mousecapade
Ninja Gaiden
Rygar
Section Z
Side Pocket
Skate or Die!
Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight
Super Dodge Ball
Super Mario Bros.
Super Pitfall
Super Spike V'Ball
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Track & Field
Track & Field II
Willow
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

There were most certainly others. After copying the list and deleting the games I thought I didn't have, leaving behind only the games I was certain of, I remembered a couple games, such as Track & Field I and II, Karate Champ and City Connection, that I owned and absentmindedly removed from the list which needed to be reentered.
I had way too many games to keep track of.

Remembered four more: Ikari Warriors I, II and III and Chessmaster.
I forgot about CM since I seldom played the NES one, preferring the DOS one I had back then. I forgot I owned Ikari Warriors and its sequels because I fed quarters to the arcade version at the pizza joint at the corner more than play the games at home.

>> No.2526818

Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 3
Duck Tales
Tom and Jerry
Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout
A Boy and his Blob

I got my NES shortly before the SNES came out.

>> No.2526840

Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt
Super Mario Bros 3
Excitebike
TMNT
T&C Surf Shop
Can't really remember the rest.

Well here's a photo taken I believe in 1991. I I think by the time the NES was a dead system my brothers and I had accumulated something around 40 games.

>> No.2527135

Dragon Warrior 1 & 3
Final Fantasy SMB 1 & 3
Bard's Tale
Pool Of Radiance

Spy Hunter
Shadow Gate
Rygar
Adventure island
Willow
Yo Noid
Astyanax
Bill & Ted
Dodgeball
Total Recall
Kings Quest V
etc

And some weird blue cartridge. It was a platformer featuring characters that looked like playing card Jacks. I wish I could find info on it, it was probably bootleg or something.

>> No.2527137

Mario 3
Ducktales
Yoshi's Cookie
Double Dare
Duck Hunt
That Miracle Piano thing

We also had Kirby's Adventure, but my brother lent it to a classmate and never got it back. I never played it because I was too young.

I never thought so growing up for a few reasons, mostly because the only frame of reference I had for "rich" were the exaggerated portrayals of wealth on television, but by my early teens, I came to understand that we were significantly more "comfortable" than average.
That's the best way I can answer without sounding like an idiot.

Not that guy, but NES games could be bought for cheap from game rental stores around the time they were being replaced by SNES and Genesis games. I had around a hundred or so just from retired rentals.

I can tell you exactly which of the games on my list from >>2526793 I got second-hand:

Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure

That's it. I bought it at a church sale. I regretted my purchase. Should have gotten something else. I also bought Arch Rival (a board game, not the video game that I also owned) that day. Pretty fun board game, IMO.

What is the point of this thread? How are the NES collections of a bunch of anonymous poster interesting in the slightest bit? Why not just make a bot that randomly makes lists of ten from a pool of the top 25 most popular games and you'd get the same result.

>> No.2527895

Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt
Super Mario Bros 3
RC Pro Am
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Pinball
Golfing Pebble Beach (?)
Kirby's Adventure
Bart Vs The Space Mutants
Legacy of the Wizard
Mega Man 2
Probably a few other I am forgetting

I played a lot of the other classics thanks to friends/rental store though

>> No.2528035

Would get a game every birthday, and spinal tap. I came to the game late. I got a SMS then an NES after I figured out none of my friends wanted to play SMS.

SMB/Duckhunt
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
Impressive graphically, and impressive RPG features.
Chip n dale
Metroid
Mine and my neighbor's were both extremely prone to glitching out after playing for an hour or two, and hten we'd get corrupt saves and get even more glitches. Was fun, and weird, but we never really beat it without justin bailey.
Zelda 1
never beat 2nd quest, could never find the silver arrows.
Zelda 2
never beat it because I levelled up very badly, I was like 778 by the last temple and couldn't into grinding. I beat it recently and thought it was pretty easy.
Double Dragon 2
Dragon Warrior (came free if you bought the guide + a year of nintendo power or something, I was surprised) Followed the guide, it said level 20 was plenty for last boss, and I made it up to him okay. Got my ass handed to me and still couldn't into grinding. I knew I had to do it, but couldn't find anything good to grind on.

Fester's Quest was awful
Dr. Jekyll was awful.
played both from rentals.
