Sup /vr!

I´m about to buy a Super Nintendo with Super Mario World. At a big price for my pocket. So, before buying, I wanted to ask you, because, you know, I love you guys.

My other choice was to use a very accurate emulator, but there has been some time and I don´t know what emulator is the best for snes.

Also there is latency issue. My solution was to use an usb audio interface with low lattency, but emulators don´t use ASIO, so... I´m kinda lost.

Buy the real thing? (expensive)

Use a good emulator with a low latency usb sound card? (same price as snes, a bit cheaper)

>at a big price
SNES: 60$ or less
Super Mario World:15$
75$ total, wouldn't pay more than 85$

Just use Snes9x. If your computer can't run it it's probably a toaster.

If the minimum sound latency coming from an emulator is detectable to you, then you'll also need to buy a CRT.

Just emulate it. It's a fucking Mario game, not Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Those are USA prices. I forgot to tell... I live in Argentina, and snes are really overpriced. About u$250

Snes9x? isn´t there any better? I have a nice

Use Higan. It's the emulator for autists. Near perfect SNES reproduction, but requires a decent CPU.

If he can't run Snes9x without latency issues what makes ou think he can run Higan?

>Isn't htere any better

No, not really. Snes9x is pretty accurate from my experience and understanding. You can try Zsnes, but it isn't as compatible.

And what about sound quality and fidelity? Is it there an emulator with GOOD sound quality? I mean to ask this to someone who played a real snes.

>2520502
I have a decent CPU, what about sound quality?

Did you own a snes?

yeah use an emulator man, no snes is worth 250

Yes, I owned a Snes from 1995ish until 2010 when I sold it for a security deposit.

great!! And did you try Higan? I mean for sound accuracy.

No. Would you like me too? Again, I never had a problem with Snes9x. Maybe a flat sound effect here and there but for the most part it IS emulated.

>>2520610
that would be great. Flat sound effect? you mean lack of filters?

You can get a Snes with cords, controller and a game for like $35-$50. It's totally worth it.

I paid 40,00€ for my SNES with controller, SMario All Stars, 2x Killer Instinct and a Super Gameboy. It was a bargain!
