What kind of games do you like to play? Anyway, some of my favorites:

Lemmings
Loom
Secret of Monkey Island
F/A-18 Interceptor
Battle Squadron
Hybris
Chaos Engine
Hired Guns
Flashback
Heimdal
Lionheart
No Second Prize
Pinball Dreams / Fantasies
Rod-Land
Battle Chess
Zany Golf
Road Raider

There's also a fair amount of RPGs. I basically only ever played Might & Magic III, but the Amiga ports of Bard's Tale (+ Dragon Wars) and Dungeon Master (+ Chaos Strikes Back) are probably the best overall.

Amusingly, there's also King's Bounty, but no HOMM. They also never ported Might & Magic 4-5. Too bad, because it was basically the same engine as MM3.

Not too long ago I also tried Roadwar 2000, but couldn't get the hang of that game. I like the concept though, just need to read the manual first (oops!)

I also like some of the more "cheesy" stuff like Bomber Bob, Krusty's Fun House, Kid Gloves II, Space Station (pic related). Also want to like Mike the Magic Dragon, but I can never get the "words" in the right order for some reason.

Now there is a game that is simply amazing, yet relatively unknown

I agree with pretty much everything else on your list as well.

>Atmosphere absolutely drips from the intro sequence
>Deliberately going to ratmen lairs during full moon for maximum gore
>Swamp-monsters still shit me up now

Other quintessentially Amiga-only games I recall enjoying:

Benefactor
Fury of the Furries
Ruff 'n Tumble
Bob's Bad Day
Sleepwalker
Switchblade 2
Apidya
Bill's Tomato Game
Sink or Swim
Basejumpers
Walker
Morph
Blob
Arabian Nights
Wiz 'n Liz
Titus the Fox

Pic related, I wanted to like it so badly but I find it infuriatingly difficult.

Also: Amiga Power still the best gaming mag ever put on the shelves.

Yeah it's hard, and I only ever made it to world 2. I think the trick is you're supposed to use the "thief" monsters to grab powerups for you, when they're located in difficult spots.

Another good platform game is Ork, by Psygnosis. Well I also like their Shadow of the Beast series, despite the insane difficulty. Seeing arcade-smooth SOTB on an Amiga 500 in 1991 is what got me into these computers. Great atmosphere and music in those games too.

Microprose games - any of them except later stuff from the 90s because the PC version is better.
