I've seen this mentioned here only a few times. Kinda clunky, but I loved it as a kid. Still have my beat up boxed copy, one of the only games I managed to keep from my childhood. Played through it last week.

quackshot is a beloved sega-developed Disney licensed game bro, it was acclaimed when it came out, it got re-released in Japan for the Saturn along with Castle of Illusion in a double pack, and I still think it's a great game.

You've probably been missing on the "good licensed vidya" threads here on /vr/, Quackshot always gets mentioned along with Castle/World of Illusion.

I ended up giving it away about 7 years ago, I actually regret it. I want to play it again so bad...going to have to emulate.

Yeah, I know the game is pretty damn corny, but it's fun. And I'm pretty sure it's the only Atlus game I've ever played.

I had this game and loved it too. Although it has a weird difficulty spike in world 2 I believe. I never could finish it and don't own it anymore.
Game is kinda becoming a cult classic I think, it really is one of the best looking/sounding games on the system.
The music composer is also famous for other works which also have acclaim (I believe more in the world of euro computers), so that's another reason why Plok is becoming a cult game. And yes, the music is pretty great, it makes a really good use of the SNES's sample capabilities. Dat harmonica.
