/vr/, help me out. What version of Final Fantasy Tactics should I play: Patched WOTL or PSX patched with FFT:Complete?

I feel like it depends on if you like purple prose or shitty 90s translations.
at least I can get some giggles out of the ps1 version. I just cant stand the way everyone talks in the psp one.

...putting the translation and mods aside, PSP is the definite version. I haven't tried "complete", I have tried the slowdown fix for PSP, it works.

War of the Lions is my preferred version, even though Tactics is one of my biggest sources of nostalgiagasms. Less cheating is available, so you still have to work for it (read: level 99 characters with Sticky Fingers fighting Ninjas) to get things like multiple Excaliburs or Masamunes.
