Hi, /vr/

I wish to know if anybody could help me remember the name of this old Win98 game. It was an isometric one; you controlled two robots with the cursor and you had them move around a facility like a factory of sorts, fighting off other robots. Outside the facility, at least in the first stage - never made it past it - it was mostly covered in snow and there were enemy robots there too, along with a few outposts with switch-like objects and stuff; one I remember had a forcefield.

Not sure about the details anymore, but maybe you are thinking of Syndicate?

Not OP here, but you can't see inside the facilities in Syndicate and there definitely wasn't snow in the first mission.

OP here. Looked it up and no, it wasn't Syndicate.

The graphics were sprites, but made of pre-rendered 3d models. Kinda like the produce of the Infinity Engine, but obviously not made with it, otherwise it would be listed.

Apparently, it's an indie RPG called "Underrail". Never played it, never heard of it before. I just looked up 'isometric game' on Google and this is one of the few stuff that appeared at the time and didn't look urban or fantasy/medieval.

I looked up footage of it - namely this one: https://youtu.be/sdd9o9YpNB0

While I don't think that's the right answer, it very, very, very much resembles it. The hi-techy setting of the base is quite similar, but you apparently cannot exit and re-enter the facility, which is what I remember the most of the game I'm looking for. Plus, in Crusader you apparently can only control one red guy, but in my case you could control two green guys. And there were no humans - at least, I don't remember them.

That all said, the gameplay is fairly similar - or at least it would, if I hadn't been such a newb back in my childhood and just dedicated myself to shoot any and all robots that approached me - and in fact I feel like getting around to try out Crusader some time.
