I'm looking for other games that are based on the "chase scene simulation" concept pioneered by Taito's arcade game Chase H.Q.

I really don't know what else to call these. They're more or less action oriented games based around high speed chases, ala every action flick ever.

pic related is pretty much the entire genre in a nutshell. You chase evil dudes in a vehicle of some sort and then FUCK THEIR SHIT UP. Some of them have a minor twist on the formula, but that's basically how they all work.

Konami did a game that where you don't seem to be chasing any criminals, but it's still CLEARLY based on the "hollywood chase scene sim" concept that Chase H.Q. was, and if anything is probably CLOSER to emulating the cinematic chase scene experience in presentation and feel.

There's also the Rail Chase series where you chase a bunch of bad dudes in a rail car. It's quite a bit different from Chase H.Q., but it still has that "chase scene sim" vibe.

Then there's the totally-unrelated-and-actually-predating-the-whole-subgenre game RoadBlasters, which while not really the same thing at all does still have some common gameplay elements.

Are there any more games like this? Literally ANYTHING that's based on hollywood style chase scenes. Can be for any system. It's one of my favorite underrepresented/rare genres and I'd love to find more like it.

Yeah, I guess I didn't even bother to list that one because I was only thinking of stuff where you do the chasing and not where you're on the run, although I guess it does count even if it sucks.

If there are any more like that where you're the one trying to escape instead of doing the chasing then that's cool as well.

Round Up 5 - Super Delta Force (arcade) from Tatsumi, is similar to Chase H.Q. to the point of plagiarism.

Also, Cisco Heat (arcade) from Jaleco, features cop cars, but the object is to win a race, not catch criminals.

Dayym that's some seriously impressive super-scaler for 1992. Is this a driving game meets a shooter? Why I haven't I heard of this before, it looks fantastic!
