SNES/SFC Recommendations

Alright /vr/, I feel like modern gaming has failed me and I want to get back into retro stuff. I'm planning on picking up a super famicom because the consoles I've seen online are generally cheaper and in better condition, along with games. I was looking for some recommendations for what games to pick up. Here's a list of everything I've already considered and will be grabbing at some point:

Nintendo stuff(marios, metroids, FEs, etc)
Mother 2
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasies
Seiken Densetsus
maybe some Ys or SaGa stuff

I know I've got a solid list already and have covered all of the popular stuff, but what are some gems on this console I've overlooked? Japanese exclusives are perfectly fine and encouraged.

Kanji isn't actually hard, it just seems intimidating. Get RTK and Memrise and do like 20-25 a day and you'll be fine.
