Super Mario World is up there for biggest fan content. What's the most interesting and different romhack out there? I'm curious what the limits to the game engine and hardware are. Or if anyone has taken it and made a very non-Mario game with it. Maybe something Castlevania or Metroid style or something.

What's the most unique or ambitious SMW romhack?
