THPS2 introduced manuals, THPS3 introduced reverts, THPS4 introduced spine transfers, THUG introduced walking, THUG2 did...a lot of stuff, and THAW...went overboard.

No no no, the best part was that little area with the benches. You can easily hit over 1000000 points on each pass if you grind the benches and transfer to other benches or manual between them.

Had a friend challenge me to a high-score run on SH once. He went for the half-pipe and scored about 250,000 points. Within one minute on the benches I had over 2 million points.

If we all agreed on a base .mcr that has probably everything unlocked we could just trade that around, and have custom parks added to it. THPS2 has an infinite money code, so we don't really need to worry about making a custom skater for everyone to use.

After doing a lot of poking around I figured out how to run the PC version of THPS2 on Windows 8.1 x64.

I'm probably going to build a custom ISO of the game that has a working crack bundled with it along with the correct music (the Korean version has some Korean pop group that sounds awful with the game but the crack I have is supposedly for that version so I have an ISO of the US version to dump the music to the game directory so it plays the regular THPS2 music; I can consolidate all these elements into a single ISO that will play the game properly and install the right music).

Actually I found the crack is region independent. It'll work with any THPS2 ISO.

So you can just install the base game and use the crack I found on THPS-mods (though I should at least distribute the crack lest you want to sift through a bunch of message board posts like I did to find it).
