What's the best way to store SNES games or any cartridges in general? The few SNES games I own are CIB but I don't like constantly removing them from their original boxes.

Games are for playing. It' s natural that the box get' s worn.

CD and DVD shelves. SNES is a weird size so I got one with adjustable shelf heights.

Get a flashcart and never touch your CIB games if you care about their resale value and condition.

Alternatively just make a cabinet that is custom made for storing SNES games.

Keep the cartridges by your console and store the boxes inside a box and put it in your closet. I got NES boxes that still look pristine because they haven't seen sunlight in 25 years.

I stick my snes carts in a rubbermaid bin, they fit perfectly into 3 neat rows inside of it, and it holds around 50 which is about my entire collection.

Carts are robust so you can pretty much store them anywhere, especially with snes since they have end labels so they're easy to pick out from a stack.

N64 carts I like to put on my shelf so I can flip through them if I want to pick one out to play.
