So I recently brought my old Xbox out of retirement.

The GOTY edition of Morrowind was in with the box of the rest of my old games (Battlefront, mech assault, Halo, Wacked, splinter cell... good times)

Anyway, is there really any point to trying to play this game?
Everyone I've talked to about it says three things
>Its extremely slow
>its quite hard
>its fucking awesome

Morrowind was a really great elder scrolls game it had a really great dark uniniviting atmosphere enchanced by the fact everyone called out outlander and made you feel unwelcome. You were a stranger in a strange land. The dwemer ruins were fun to explore and it's a really good game even if it doesn't belong on this board.

Let me do some of my own projections though. You were born in 1994 didn't own a game console till the next century and now you have to hate on modern games like morrowind to seem cool and unique even though you have the most awful shit tier taste like buck bumble and other shitty n64 garbage.

lol my first console was a hand me down NES from my cousins, then I had a SNES, then I bought a 64 with my own money. The 64 was great in it's day but looking back on it there is just no reason to go back to it. I can play way better 3d adventure games that don't have shit framerates.

I've beaten OoT, I have a really good n64 collection I haven't sold it because it was the first console I bought with my own money. It's just my least favorite out of all the retro systems I own. I have or have had all the n64 "classics" and I still like my master system collection a hell of a lot more.
