Can someone please tell me how to save in Dragon Warrior/Quest II?

Google and FAQs don't say shit. They just say "Go save your game."

I tried talking to the priest, which is how I thought you did it. I tried resting at the Inn.

I can't remember how to for the life of me.

Because i want to play all the games in one system, and I will not hunt down a nes, snes and ds just for that.
I have and iphone the games 1-6 are there and it's on the go, plus they restored party chat.
So it's perfect for me!
