So, with the "1-button fatalities" enabled, I can do both fatalities, Animalities, friendships, and brutalities, but the babalities wont fucking work.

I'm not blocking or anything either. The Babality just won't trigger.

What gives?

Bitch nigga, I've been recording EVERY ender for MK, MKII, MKA, MKvsDC, and MK9 and I STILL have to go through MK Gold, Deadly Alliance, Shaolin Monks, the N64 version of Trilogy for it's two exclusive fatalities, and the gamecube version of Deception, and after all THAT I have to go through MKX and it's eventual DLC characters, and edit every single Fatality, Babality, Animality, Brutality, Friendship, Hara Kiri, Stage Finisher, and stage trap.

I've been at it for 6 days now, getting up at 8am and going to bed at 2am. So excuse me for wanting to speed up the process a little bit.

I'm not. I already used the Arcade versions of MK 1 and 2, and I have the two fatalities in UMK3 that arent in trilogy recorded.

Also, It hasn't been done on the level that I'm doing it. Some fatalities are completly missing because they play the wrong version, and some fatalities are repeated sometimes 5 whole times for no reason.

I'm making a master piece.

I will also be posting it in the MK generals on /vg/. Wont be done until the final MKX character comes out though. Will upload it that day, assuming the render won't take too long

Take distance from your opponent. Not every finisher works at the same distance.

In my experience, the 1-button fatalities are a little buggy in MKT. I'm not 100% certain of how to make them work all the time, but I've noticed it tends to work better if you stop pressing buttons as soon as your opponent hits 0HP so you're not already hitting buttons when the fatality window opens, and don't hit any directional buttons while you're pressing the fatality button.

OP here, I got it to work. When you press LP, you just have to wait a few seconds and press NOTHING ELSE because the game still allows other inputs, which will mess it up.
