My kid is a big Skylanders fan.

We went online to see if anyone was selling off their collections and this one, let's say...fucking horrible mom, was selling her 8 year old son's shit (at retail prices) saying, "Gosh, he's graduated to big boy games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty so he can play with all his little friends!"

Ok lady, fuck you - I bought him the PS1 Spyro games instead and we spent the day playing them and laughing our asses off.

Fuck man, After GTA III or Vice City, GTA went so backwards. Not bad, but just backwards.

Saints Row tried it but it was too "edgy" and over the top that I don't think anyone could take seriously. More like "another GTA" clone.

Bless the stars that Rockstars' dumb ass made Chinatown Wars.

I'm still waiting for someone to expand on the top down formula and make something mind blowing.
