Thoughts on this incredibly shitty game?

Can I play this on my Saturn?

it's probably just a rebuild of the version that was running on PC back in 95 or whenever.

The dude is still working on the Saturn build. He did post this picture of it though.

I just got Sonic Roboblast 2. Now I have something to look forward to once I get around playing SR2 and beating it.

Thanks, OP for the head's up.

Looks fun.

Aww, this isn't a release from when the fisheye was implemented.
from the 10 minutes I spent playing it, it really needs it, and the camera is hyper-zoomed in

that being said, it's still neat as hell to see this exists

runs like dick on Intel video though (supposedly it's completely unplayable on low-end integrated video, and it's like 20fps for me here)

Graphically, it looks like it'd have been pretty good. Since the camera doesn't really rotate, the pre-rendered bits look nice instead of out-of-place.

also, anyone expecting anything particularly fun or playable: this is super unfinished stuff
it's an incredibly neat curiosity, but we'd need a later build (which is being ported) to get a better idea of what the game would actually have been like

Later builds they found have the fish-eye effect. So if those get ported, then it will have it.

AYYYYYYY LMAO

>> No.2255071

So then no, this can't be played on a Saturn.

>> No.2256187

Will check it out if they ever get the stereographic effect. You can't see jack shit without it.

An effort is being made to port it. Some builds already run on a Saturn.
