this is a long shot, but does anybody on here have any of these old game and watch games, or tiger electronics?

Never saw this one, looks awesome though

even though this is extremely old and outdated technology I think this stuff is awesome and fun to collect, I have dk jr, mickey and donald dual-screen, castlevania 2 (tiger), and a couple other miscellaneous laying around somewhere.

Reason I make this thread is because tomorrow morning im supposed to go get parachute, mario's cement factory, donkey kong II, and mario bros (hoping to score the dual-screen version) off of this dude on craigslist for $75. Really hope this works out

How's it a long shot? They're pretty common and this is a forum dedicated to retro gaming. I have a couple dozen old Tiger handhelds.

There's a two screen Donkey Kong at the local flea market. Guy wants $80. Should I buy it? I got 2 single screens from him for $30 a piece.

I still got the Formula 1 Tiger game.

>> No.2235202

I think i still have tiger handhelds of jurassic park and star wars. What utter pieces of shit. That was back in the dark says before I had real video games.

I have these. Kinda surprised how few actual "Game & Watch" I actually have. Maybe just thinking back to playing with my friends' at school.

I really liked Burger Time. The joystick worked really well. Pinball was also a favorite, and D&D was cool too.

Checker Flag was really cool because it expanded into a board game with magnetic game pieces. Antarctica was pretty to look at, and thinking about it now, it's kinda hilarious because the premise of the game was to go around and literally club seals for their meat to feed your dogs.

I have Zelda, Bombsweeper, Squish, and Donkey Kong II.

They were a childhood obsession of mine, and my first contact with Nintendo.

>> No.2236852

I only have the Mario Bros one.
Why is it a long shot? Are they rare/worth too much for the average collector to be interested in? Or were they just unpoplar?

I have had these two. Parachute's adequate, but Mario's Cement Factory great,

Has anyone else tried a G&W "glitch" where you twiddle with the batteries and suddenly all the grapchics are lit and every sound played one after another?

Zelda was awesome. It was surprisingly complex, and that made it really fun to go back to.

I need to find mine; I have a shit ton of Tiger games, and a couple of G&Ws (Zelda, Gold Cliff, and Ball). Also had some LED games, like the really bad Tomy Pac-Man where you could only eat shit if you were coming in from certain directions.

Anyone else have those Nelsonic game watches as well? I loved the Frogger one I got for Christmas one year, but sadly it died...

This is a great site for plating these old games. A lot of obscure ones from around the world have been recreated here:

I had the Pac-Man watch. Also remembered I had some Pac-Man clone called Epoch-Man. That game advanced to the point where the ghosts were so fast, they were practically invisible, but I had a maze pattern that got me thru 100% of the time that I didn't even have to look at the screen. I just punched the directional buttons and there it was. Kinda disappointed that I don't have either anymore.

I used to have some G&W-likes that McDonalds (or some other fast food place) gave out. I actually searched for them some days ago and couldn't find them, must have lost them when I moved a few months ago....

I've got a Donkey Kong Hockey one. I rescued it from a drawer after my cousin neglected it for many years.

I haven't played it much, but it comes with two controllers and it's pretty fun on multiplayer. Nintendo made 3 different games in this Micro Vs. System line.

As a kid I always wanted the Mario 3 watch, I had one of the Tiger TMNT ganmes (the one where you swim underwater underneath the spinning stick of death I think)

As an adult my lady bought me a Zelda G&W. It is a lot of fun.
