I love Dino Crisis. Gameplay-wise it is the best AITD/RE style survival horror. Mikami really pushed the formula to the maximum, without gameplay ending up unfair or annoying.
That's a problem some other survival horror games had, like for example Enemy Zero which has really hardcore gameplay, but ends up being unfair and outright annoying because of it. Dino Crisis is hardcore AND fun.

Too bad it's not as good in the horror department.
