Sup /vr/

What are some good lesser known N64 games you cats would recommend?

I just got done finished with:

Mischief makers
Gauntlet legends
Chameleon Twist
Turok
Goemon
Glover

I looked at a bunch of lists but didn't see anything else, maybe you guys can convince me? I've been having so much fun this past week and don't want it to end.

I'm sorry Anon, but the fun will come to an end.

I forgot about Body Harvest, and Bomberman Hero is pretty great too but often ignored since no multiplayer mode.

Oh god yes, this game was absolutely amazing. I haven't seen any game with such gameplay ever since.

The problem with n64 is the amount of sports and racing titles leave little hidden gems at all. The library itself is also on the small side.

There's still always games people tend to miss or that didn't play because they were not released in their region.

Bomberman Hero
and Bomberman 64

are both great
But they are TOTALLY different kind of games
so you could like one and not the other

Just get a PS1.

Seriously though, Sin and Punishment, Beetle racing.

Pilotwings 64 had such a lasting impression on me when I first played it. I don't know if it would pack as much of a punch now, but dear god do I ever love this game. This music hits me in the nostalgia feels every single time.

Only play the SD mode though.

Nobody gives a shit about the realistic mode.

I am playing through it now. The beginning is the most repetitive, boring and uninspiring thing I have played.

I can't believe this is a Kojima-game.

That's not a lesser known N64 game, it was the 2nd game released in the west after Super Mario 64, and Pilotwings is also a rather known Nintendo franchise.

But yeah, PW64 was amazing.

I loved it as a kid because back in 1996, these graphics and freedom was incredible, but I actually enjoyed the game a lot more as an adult, as a kid I never bothered to get gold in all missions and never unlocked the most fun extra missions.

The beginning kind of sucks, game picks up when you start learning more moves and suplexes.

>Kojima-game.

It's not, it just has some people who worked on Snatcher, but Kojima wasn't involved.

Tip: don't play it for the story, play it for the battle system.
Get a friend who wants to play VS mode with you, shit is fun.

Probably because it wasn't THREE DEEEE, remember a lot of games got panned because of not being 3D on the latter half of the 90s.

It's a fun wacky fighting game.

It's similar to PC, but yeah the N64 version is really well made. All versions are good except for the PS1 version. Think of the laggiest most awful frame rate in any N64 game you can think of. Then halve that and you've got PS1 Shadowman.

Robotron 64 is just intense and is far superior to the ps1 version.

Tetrisphere has an amazing soundtrack and is a good game to boot. Here, have a listen:
