That's the point. Reavers, storm etc. are too good against bio, since they force Terrans to go mech 99,9% of the time.

Having more variety in a matchup would be a good thing, so in that sense those units are overpowered.

You really don't need Goliaths in any mission. Medics and Marines will get you through the entire campaign just as well if you know how to split, with a few exceptions where massing Siege Tanks is the easiest way to beat the mission. /off-topic

Unless you have a swarm of spiders or something, you'd best just bend over, grab your ankles, put your head between your legs, and kiss your ass goodbye. Even if disabled as such, the controller can just self-destruct the thing anyway so forget about a capture. Even if you do manage to kill one bearing down on your base, it's a pyrrhic victory at best.
At least if we're just talking about official Cavedog units anyway.
