I'm getting a ps1 and I was wondering what the best tv to get would be. I kind of wanted something from the same era and i need it to be a reasonable price. anybody have a cool tv they use for their retro consoles? any ideas on what to look for?

You can almost always find a free CRT on craigslist these days, in various sizes. From like 12 to 40 is pretty common.

People who are enthusiasts will suggest a PVM, but honestly, people want like 100+ bucks for a PVM and when theres decent, free alternatives around its not that appealing to me.

Literally any CRT. Shop around and drop 20 or 30 bucks on a Trinitron if you really care about it.
