Can we take a second to notice those songs in games that we usually only heard for a second as we started it up, but are actually really good? I'm talking about save menu musics or menu musics. Or maybe I'm the only one here who sometimes just let the menu run for a few loops just to hear these?

Eh, the select music for S3 was ok, but never really as great as the rest of the soundtrack IMO

Definitely agree with you on that one; just hearing things like Metal Squad going off for the first time made my ear pussies gush.

Not shitting on SNES soundchip or anything but goddamn it's just so cool. Wasn't one of the issues that the Genesis soundchip had involved people not understanding the full extent of it's potential? Too hard for them and time consuming to grasp?
